Lake Powell 2009

The Gibson Gang goes to Lake Powell every fall, when it is cooler and less crowded. This is where Holden spent 90% of his days while there. Holden and Harrison paddling the wave runner?

This year Holden got to water ski for the first time! He was pretty nervous about it, but was brave and tried it anyway. He did a great job, but when he was done he told his dad he was only doing it once.


What a cute little water skier!

Here he is in the rescue boat. Uncle Luke was out in the kayak to pick up the little skiers when they were done. When Holden was done they pulled him up next to Luke and Holden jumped right into the boat from the ski, he didn't even get his jacket wet!

They all had a great time this year and can't wait to go again next year! Hopefully next year Holden will actually have fun skiing. And next year Greta can go too (to the lake not water skiing).
