Greta had a great birthday!
She was so excited about it for months, she was very disappointed when Holden's birthday was first. Almost daily she would ask me if Holden's birthday was over, and when I said 'yes' she would tell me that her birthday was next. It was very upsetting to her when Gavin across the street had his birthday and party the day before hers. On her birthday she woke up and said, "now that Gavin's birthday is over it is my birthday!" and was so excited when I told her she was right. Finally!!!
For about a month beforehand she told us that she wanted a pinata at her party! So I found this cute one and filled it with candy, the only problem was it was made out of thick, strong, cardboard and the kids could not knock it open. Noah finally had to cut some holes in it so the candy would fall out!
She was almost as fast as Holden when it came to opening presents. She got some great ones, thank you everybody!
She overheard us talking about getting her a bike, so whenever she talked about her birthday she would tell us she wanted a pinata and a pink bike! She is very excited about the bike and loves to go on bike rides with Holden.
blowing out the candles was a lot of fun, I think it took her a few tries but she got them all out by herself!
What a cute 3 year old we have.
