February 2013

Yah I am a bit behind,
February was Chinese New Year!! Holden's school did a program to celebrate. Each Immersion class performed a Chinese song or poem. They all were really amazing!
Holden wore his Chinese outfit that Grandma and Aunt Linda got him.
Noah had class that night so I was there alone with Greta and Oliver, trying to video tape, and take pictures! I couldn't leave them to take closer pictures of Holden's class, it was a good thing Holden had his hat on, because that is the only way I can find him in the pictures! The boys in his class did a cool dance with fans.
After all the performances they had a surprise performance by a Chinese Dragon or Lion!(Greta said it was a Dragon, Holden says it was a Lion) It was really cool, the kids were kind of scared. When it came past us Greta jumped behind me as fast as she could!
February was also the end of snowboarding lessons for Holden. He had a great time this year, he was the only kid in his class so he got 5 private lessons!

He is getting better and better, he can do "S" turns, but is still a little nervous about it, and would rather be on his heel side!
Over President's Day weekend we went down to St. George to get out of the cold weather and terrible inversion! While we were there we went and toured Jacob Hamilton's pioneer house.
And here is a picture of Oliver, he had figured out how to roll to get where he wanted. He would often end up under his swing, he loved to push the swing and play with the belts. He fell asleep under there a few times too.
Oliver Started crawling over President's Day weekend! He loves it! He can now get everywhere and into everything!
