Green River Trip

In April Holden, Noah, Norm, and Hadley went on a river trip down the Green River. They took the canoe and an inflatable kayak.
They started at Spring Canyon and took out at Mineral Bottom. This is the road you have to drive down to get to the river at Mineral Bottom. It is very narrow and is a cliff on both sides! Holden kept telling Noah to be careful, very careful.

This is looking down one of those cliffs.

Here are Hadley and Holden ready to set off down the river.
And here is the boat all loaded up.
They stopped to camp at two mile canyon along the way. Holden had a great time rock climbing.

And here Holden is just looking at the river. He found this little spot and just watched the river go by for a few minutes.

Then he took a nap on grandpa's lap.

Here is the best part of any camping trip, Roasting Marshmallows! Whenever we are packing for a camping trip that is the one thing Holden makes sure is packed.

The next morning they loaded the boat back up and headed down to Mineral Bottom. I am not sure how they got all the stuff and people in the boat, but they all made it back and so did all the stuff!
Here is Hadley paddling the kayak, when it was not being used as a gear trailer.
And here are the boys They all had a great time and can't wait to do it again next year.
